What I love about yoga is the fact that you can do it anywhere, with or without a mat. Recently, I have been trying routinely to wake up earlier (see blog post), I have also started to notice the importance of winding down at night to help de-stress and be more restored for the next day.
A lot of times my yoga practice for the day can be several little short ten minute sessions.
And I’ve noticed that when I take time to stretch and wind down before bed that I not only sleep better, but I don’t feel as stiff and inflexible when I wake up.
So I have put together a short sequence that anyone can do on your yoga mat or even on your bed to help you unwind from your day.
